This is the first tank of a new faction for Plasmablast Games. The model you see is intended to be cast as a 1/300 scale wargames miniature, soon available for purchase here:

The 2 versions you see only differ in their main weapon which I still haven't decided about which I prefer the most. Any feedback on this is welcome!

Wow it looks so smooth and cool a great original look for a tank! I could imagine the chassis being made that way to reflect lasers.

Thank you :)

The shiny surface finish is actually a by-product of the program I use which is not a graphics program but an industrial design one and renders are made with pre-made materials and scenes.

I prefer the muted, more covert (i.e. non reflective flat black matte colour) tank barrel on the left versus the tank barrel on the right.

Just my opinion.

In battle / weaponry, you never want to give your opponent any indication that you are about to destroy / kill him. One effectively does so discretely and with covertness ... hence the ubiquitous use of camouflage, neutral colour tones (greys, blacks, muted earth colours) that blend in well with the environmental template that surrounds us.

Non-reflective is the way to go and the way to ensure that one lives to see another day or battle. ;)

That is awesome, great ideas, I like the side auto turrets one on top would be handy too depending on the situation.

Thanks! Yes, I thought about a top secondary weapon but then it couldn't get cast if it was like the side-sponsons ;) Instead of that I placed the co-axial weapon you can see here, and additionally, in the production version I omitted the device at the back of the turret and replaced it with a vertical micro-missile launcher, for automatically intercepting incoming missiles and drones.

Yes i see these, i tell you the tank is a great design. I like it. Have you seen Sttheo's work?
I think you would like it.
The tank you have designed would seem to survive even with the change in technology. I suppose it still all comes down to chance.
Great work, hope to see more

Thank you for your comments and praise, much appreciated. Rest assured you'll certainly see more of me. You can check some of my older designs (not as articulated but perhaps still interesting) here:

choose either "Progenitors" or "Orbital Combine". What you'll see are real, metal 1/300 scale miniatures painted with acrylic colours.

About Sttheo's work, yes, I'm aware of that, pretty top-notch stuff.

very nice. I kind of like the gun on the right, it's more menacing.

Yeah, I totally agree. I think this is going to be my choice for production...
